I am still thinking what to write in my first blog. As this is completely my space and I owe all freedom to express, I start with something which I like and adore throughout my life - "Living things especially animals". Though I have started watering the pots recently bought, my affection for animals cannot be equalized. The reason might be that it responds well. So here goes my first trait. I love to be responded. In everything I do or involve, I wish to receive responses. I grew up with dogs from the age of 8. I naturally tend to develop a bond with all the dogs I see everyday. Gradually the category widened to accommodate other members of the family - even the wild ones. My favorite spot is zoo or any park where I could interact with or watch animals. My greatest desire is to hug a lion or tiger (I know it sounds funny, apparently its true). I even pressurized my dad to buy a lion cub. Starvation was the mode of protest (of course, during the childhood). Finally I was calmed down with a pup and threatening stories of lions and tigers. I named her "Jimmy". Her story and all her successors' stories would be my next blog. Now almost a dozen dogs own us. People as how we could differentiate each one from the other. Its quite an invalid question to us as its asking the parents how they differentiate between their kids. Though it all started for me, now my dad takes care of their daily chores. Even when I was there with him, I never used to move my ass to serve them. What I do is just pat them and talk to them when I have time. Taking into account the activities my dad and I do, the love meter would drastically shoot up to his direction. Anybody can love anyone, but what we do for that matters. Despite all the opposition he had to face for raising these many members, dad still clings to them and never misses even their single meal. I have cried and shouted at them many times for their mischief. Scraping the furniture, crushing the remote controls, chewing the clothes (especially mine, as most of my dresses would have attractive and embodied arts), fighting with each other, jumping on us (made me angry especially when I was in white and just stepped out), howling all night due to their own reasons, continuously barking when on phone calls, blah blah, the list goes on. But all these would disappear with their single wag of greeting all the time we enter our house and leave. They start yipping and panting when any of us returned after a vacation (be it one night or many). Calming down time usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. These expressions make me forget all those they did so far. Absolute sweethearts they are!
